Job Title: 1st shift Automotive Painter

Job Description

We are seeking skilled automotive painters to join our team. You will be responsible for prepping and painting automotive parts, chassis, or body. The role requires buffing and sanding parts for preparation, using an HVLP spray gun for painting, and conducting quality checks to ensure defect-free finishes.

Responsibilities

• Prep and paint automotive parts, chassis, or body using specialized techniques.
• Buff and sand parts to ensure proper preparation for painting.
• Utilize an HVLP spray gun to apply paint with precision.
• Conduct quality checks to identify and rectify paint defects.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of schooling in automotive painting.
• Proficiency in using an HVLP paint sprayer.
• Ability to sand, buff, and prep parts effectively.
• Strong understanding of paint defects and quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with PPG paints, codes, and colors is highly beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment that experiences temperature variations, being hot in the summer and cool in the winter. The team adheres to deadlines to ensure timely delivery of custom vehicles to clients. The culture is laid-back yet demands perfection in all custom work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, OH.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
