The position will report to the location in Villa Park, IL.

Our projects range in scope from large-scale new construction to complete tear-offs, re-roofing and renovations of existing building exteriors, and on-going roof maintenance, inspection, and repairs of all major commercial roof systems.

Job Summary: The Commercial Roofing Sales Specialist will present reroofing options, roof maintenance, safety recommendations, and other roof services offered by Nations Roof to current and new clientele in the Greater Chicago Metro area and Illinois markets.

Responsibilities and Functions:

• Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
• Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
• Presents options, functions, and utility of products or services to customers, based on their needs.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
• Expected to work within our team of professionals to grow the business.

Education and Requirements:

• College Degree Preferred or any equivalent combination of experience may also be considered.
• Sales experience in commercial roofing or similar industry, highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Ability to lift and climb up and down a 30 ft. ladder or flights of stairs.
• Abide by all job-site safety requirements, including PPE, and fall protection.
• Must be team orientated and be willing to perform based on the company's Core Values.
• A valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
