We are seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician to join our team to help contribute to our success and help us solve problems with innovation through intelligence. The Construction Surveillance Technicians primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts to include demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705. Performance shall include:/pulliAssesses, identifies and communicates recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems./liliIdentifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks./liliDrafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders./liliManages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead./liliFollow and enforce customers Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)./liliPerform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative./liliShall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces./liliWill photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets./li/ulpBe able to clearly articulate and communicate to senior government officials to include excellent writing capabilities./ppQualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree in the stated discipline or 6 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a bachelors degree or an associate degree plus 4 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a bachelors degree./liliSecurity Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience./liliSpecial Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience./liliMaximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years./li/ulpKnowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements) Department of Defense Clearance: Top Secret/ppAdditional Information:/pulliThis job description is not designed to cover or contain all job duties required of the employee.
