Now Hiring: Full-Time Remote MDS Nurse – Engage Consulting

Engage Consulting is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MDS Nurse (RN or LPN) to support our clients through expert MDS completion, case mix review, and reimbursement auditing. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to make an impact while enjoying the flexibility of working from home with occasional in-person facility visits.

What We’re Looking For:

• MDS experience required – You must have a strong understanding of MDS 3.0 and its impact on reimbursement and compliance.
• RAC-CT certification preferred
• Multi-state licensure preferred
• Strong knowledge of PDPM, Case Mix, and Quality Measures is essential.
• Proficiency in Point Click Care , MatrixCare , and therapy software systems.

Position Highlights:

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Consulting, the MDS Nurse will:

• Complete and submit OBRA and Medicare MDS assessments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop, revise, and review resident-specific care plans in collaboration with the IDT.
• Participate in and contribute to key client meetings (in-person and virtual), such as morning meetings, Case Mix reviews, Medicare/UR, and Quality Measure discussions.
• Provide interim MDS coverage and ensure RAI-compliant scheduling, completion, and submission.
• Conduct audits focused on reimbursement accuracy, Case Mix management, and Quality Measures.
• Stay current on CMS initiatives, regulatory compliance, and geriatric care standards.
• Collaborate with the Senior Practice Manager and Clinical Director on consulting initiatives.
