*Position Overview*
The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing ongoing unpaid insurance claims for work performed. This role requires extensive first-chair litigation experience, including handling cases from inception to resolution. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, can work cooperatively with outside counsel and has a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for the company.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Breach of Contract Claims:* Oversee and manage breach of contract cases related to unpaid property claims.
* *Draft Legal Documents:* Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other essential legal documents with precision and accuracy.
* *Defend Claims:* Represent and defend the company in court hearings, trials, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
* *Negotiate Settlements:* Conduct settlement negotiations to secure favorable resolutions for the company.
* *Case Management:* Effectively prioritize and manage multiple cases, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
* *Documentation:* Maintain meticulous and up-to-date case files and legal documentation.
*Qualifications*
* *Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree:* Must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school.
* *Licensed Attorney:* Admission to practice law in Nebraska is required.
* *First-Chair Litigation Experience:* Demonstrated ability to manage cases from inception to resolution as lead counsel.
