FRANdata is looking for an Entry Level Research Analyst to join our fast-paced and growing market research, insights, and consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, financial statement interpretation, and research methodologies. This is an entry-level role that involves working closely with clients to deliver customized research reports and data-driven insights.

FRANdata has more than 30+ years of expertise in researching the franchising business model and providing insights to help our clients operate and succeed. These clients cover the entire spectrum from start-up companies to well-known global brands that have been franchising or serving the franchise vertical for decades. 

Salary Range is 50K-60K depending on level of experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Conduct in-depth research and data analysis to support custom client projects
• Interpret and analyze financial statements (e.g., EBITDA, earnings before tax, depreciation, and amortization)
• Manage and maintain databases, ensuring accuracy and timely updates based on client feedback
• Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality, tailored research reports
• Communicate findings and insights to clients, helping them understand the data and make informed business decisions
• Lead and participate in client calls to kick off projects, explain the scope of research, and gather necessary information
• Produce clear, comprehensive research reports (e.g., bank credit reports) based on client specifications

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days in-person (Tue and Wed) at our office in Arlington, VA, and 3 days remote.
