Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an outpatient evening shift at a high-volume Level I trauma center, with ARRT certification and BLS required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is based in an outpatient MRI department with no floating or call requirements
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• High-volume Level I trauma center with musculoskeletal, neuro, and body imaging cases
• Procedures performed include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images
• IV starts, PACS usage, and contrast administration required
• Epic is used for charting and Epic experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• No local radius rule; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Free parking is provided with badge access
• Wine-colored scrubs required
• All requested time off must be submitted with application and is limited to 5 days per assignment
• Returning staff must wait 12 months before reapplying
• Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start
• Training in Epic provided during orientation

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 1 year MRI Technologist experience required
• Active state license required by start date, if applicable
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• Proof of high school level education required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Must be experienced with IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
