Dialysis RN Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2500-$2600 Assignment Length: 16 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 - End: 4/6/2026) Healthcare Setting: Acute Dialysis Unit, large teaching hospital (500 beds) Nursing Shift: 10-hour days (7:00am - 5:30pm), every other weekend required Weekly Hours: 40 On-Call: On-call and floating required Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available: 12/29) Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required; all-season or snow tires recommended November-April Dialysis Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state) Minimum 3 years of recent acute dialysis nursing experience in a large (500 beds), teaching hospital Pediatric dialysis experience required Apheresis experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience required EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required) American Heart Association BLS certification Ability to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotation Flexible scheduling (no block schedules) Reliable transportation (public transportation not available) Complete work history required for submission (include bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) Dialysis RN Responsibilities Deliver acute dialysis care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity hospital environment Perform apheresis procedures as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Float to other hospital units as required Participate in on-call rotation and work every other weekend Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR Maintain compliance with hospital and nursing policies and procedures Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced clinical setting Why Choose Burlington, VT for Your Next Travel Nursing Job?
