Endoscopy RN Job Details Location: Burlington, Vermont 05401 Assignment Length: 16 weeks Start Date: December 15, 2025 End Date: April 6, 2026 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Healthcare Setting: Endoscopy Unit Shifts: Day (08:00 - 17:30) or Night (17:30 - 03:00), 5x8-hour shifts/week Hours per Week: 40 On-call: Required Estimated Weekly Salary: $2160 - $2210 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience Prior travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers) Experience in a large teaching hospital or healthcare facility required Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications AHA PALS certification preferred EPIC charting experience within the past 2 years (required) Proficient in starting IVs, assessing HP, and post-procedure recovery for patients under conscious sedation Skilled in administering and monitoring conscious sedation medications during endoscopic procedures Reliable transportation required (personal or rental vehicle recommended; public transportation not accessible) Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November-April COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted for Flu) Endoscopy RN Responsibilities Assist with a variety of endoscopic procedures, including ERCPs Start IVs and monitor patients receiving conscious sedation Assess patient history and physical information pre- and post-procedure Provide recovery care for post-procedure patients Document patient care and procedures using EPIC EMR Participate in on-call rotation as required Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare facility policies and procedures Discover the benefits of travel nursing jobs in Vermont and enjoy the charm of Burlington while making a difference in patient care.
