Overview Dental Assistant Instructor (Part Time) at Charter College, Pasco, WA. The college seeks talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Dental Assistant instructors to teach in the evenings in a blended course environment. Charter College is a private, independent institution of higher education offering career training programs in healthcare, business, legal, criminal justice, information technology and select trades. Responsibilities Prepare for each course with a syllabus consistent with course descriptions. Inspire students to exhibit appropriate conduct in the workplace. Acquire feedback to determine student understanding of each course segment. Maintain academic standards and evaluate students' progress; share evaluations promptly. Be available to students with concerns; review student evaluations of instruction. Play an integral role in student retention efforts; participate in official college functions; serve on faculty committees. Keep official transcripts of formal studies on file; enroll in professional growth programs. Qualifications Current Certification in Dental Assisting AND Registered Dental Assistant. Two (2) years of experience in the field. Excellent customer service skills. Experience in a blended teaching environment is preferred but not required. Compensation Part-Time; Pay By Course. Instruction available day or evening; standard evening shift is 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Schedule Evening shift; 4-hour blocks. Work Location Pasco, WA 99301; in-person position. Relocation/commute required. Application Question Are you able to teach in the evenings 1-2 times a week from 6-10 PM?
