Job Type: Full-Time (with potential promotion to Operations Manager)

Pay: $17 $20 per hour

815Buyback LLC - DBA Top Tech Buyer is a growing electronics buyback business specializing in purchasing and reselling iPhones, iPads, Samsung devices, MacBooks, and laptops . We operate locally in Dekalb, IL, and Rockford, IL , offering customers a seamless way to sell their devices.

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Executive Assistant to support daily operations. This role is designed as a stepping stone to becoming a full-time Operations Manager , making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow within a fast-paced, tech-driven business.

Position Overview

As an Executive Assistant , you will play a critical role in supporting the business owner with day-to-day operations, administrative tasks, and process management . You will gain hands-on experience in electronics resale, logistics, and business operationseventually transitioning into a full-time Operations Manager as you develop expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Manage emails, schedule appointments, and handle basic bookkeeping.
• Sales & Customer Interaction: Assist with device sales, negotiate deals, and ensure smooth transactions.
• Device Inspection & Pricing: Perform quality checks and determine resale value based on condition and market demand.
• Inventory & Listing Management: Oversee stock levels, create accurate listings, and optimize pricing strategies.
• Workflow & Process Optimization: Assist in streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
• Supplier & Customer Relations: Communicate with vendors and customers to secure inventory and maintain strong relationships.
• Order Fulfillment & Logistics: Ensure timely shipping, manage orders, and handle returns/exchanges.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Experience in electronics (resale experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of eBay, Amazon, Swappa, and other resale platforms is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to inspect and accurately price devices based on condition and market trends.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow into a leadership role .
