This position is an on-site, in-person position located in Brookfield, WI

 

Position Summary

JT and Associates, a CPA firm located in Elm Grove, is looking to add a Senior Tax or Accounting Associate to their team. The Senior Associate is responsible for performing professional accounting duties in support of various accounting and tax functions. Entry-level and new Grad candidates are welcome to apply and will train the right candidate.

 

 

The duties will include but not be limited to:

Primary Responsibilities

• Preparing financial analyses and reports.
• Maintain regulatory compliance.
• Assistance with financial and tax audits.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Analyze financial information and records.
• Payroll and tax-related services.
• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and financial reporting tools
• Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple levels of clients and management
• Experienced individual preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Excellent customer service skills including patience and flexibility
